Welcome Spring with a cleansing and heating 55 minute flowing yoga sequence, which will incorporate intention setting, breath, movement and strengthening poses, designed to cleanse the heaviness of winter, and help the body transition into summer. The yoga flow will be followed by a restorative sound bath tuned to the healing frequency of 432 hz, to allow the mind, body and spirit to rest and reset.In Ayurveda (sister science of yoga) springtime is known as kapha time, which is composed of earth and water elements. This is the time that kapha can easily go out of balance, which can increase a feeling of heaviness, lethargy, mucus and phlegm in the body and mind. In Ayurveda we use opposites to balance. A cleansing and heating yoga flow will help to support the body with the transition from spring to summer.
